On Thursday, 13th of October 5th and 6th class made our way to Christ Church for the annual Diocesan Service. It was a thrilling day out and the church service had lots of other schools in attendance too! We also got to see Strongbow’s grave and we also saw some other amazing things.
This years theme was “Living History, Living God”. Each school attending was asked to bring a representation of their school crest and each pupil was asked to bring a short prayer written on card to be placed in a time capsule, as the Diocese of Glendalough and Dublin were celebrating 150 years since they amalgamated together.
Our school crest was designed by Isabelle in 6th class.
We had a fantastic day!
