Who are the Parents’ Association and what do they do?
The Parents’ Association exists to enhance our children’s experience at school. All parents are automatically members of the Association. There are two Parents on the Board of Management and we are affiliated with the National Parent’s Council.
We raise money for the school which is used for providing resources for teaching staff, subsidising school tours, assisting with sport activities, educational workshops and visits to cultural and educational events.
Our other roles include supporting the school with environmental projects, namely Green Schools and giving support to the teachers where needed.
A new Parents’ Association Committee for 2014/2015 has been established which includes approximately 30% of all families at the school.
