Johnny from Skerries Harps GAA club completes Gaelic football training exercises with pupils from Junior Infants to Second Class on the school grounds.

Hockey training will resume at the Community Centre each week from October to March with Mrs. O’Neill and Miss Sheridan. Third to Sixth class practice various skills such as pushing, passing, hitting, stopping and tackling. Towards the end of the season these skills are practiced in a mixed hockey blitz. Fifth and Sixth class have previously entered into the Under 12’s Boys Leinster League and we hope to participate in this event again this year.

Third to Sixth class pupils receive rugby coaching from a member of Skerries Rugby Club each year. The pupils learn passing skills and how to play tag rugby.

Junior Infants to second class receive private Tennis lessons at the community centre, from Jim and Eddie.
