The school was fortunate enough to have workers visit us from Ulster Bank. These volunteers helped to teach us all about the value of money. On the 16th of December, a lady called Deirdre came to do a fun lesson with 5th and 6th class. We had to plan a party for a child under a budget of €150. It was a little tricky as we all had fantastic ideas but when the budget came into play, some of our ideas had to be adapted. It was a very enjoyable morning in 5th and 6th class and we even got a cool goodie bag too!
